Safeguarding
Park Avenue Free Methodist Church is committed to safeguarding children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
We believe the church should be a place where people are safe, valued, and protected, and where any concerns about safety or wellbeing are taken seriously and responded to appropriately.
Our church has adopted a Safeguarding Policy and Procedures, approved by the Trustees, which guide how we protect children, young people, and vulnerable adults involved in the life and activities of our church.
Everyone who works with children or vulnerable adults in our church:
- Has been AccessNI checked where required
- Has received safeguarding training
- Has agreed to and signed a Code of Conduct
- Follows our safeguarding procedures and safer working practices
These measures help ensure that our ministries operate in a safe, responsible, and accountable way.
